Episode 1
1️⃣ Talk to the Recruiter in Freeport, southwest of the coach, under the tent.
2️⃣ He sends you to Rashiroz the Rogue located in North Kithicor (C).
3️⃣ You are sent to The Great Waste to procure 2 Glowing Crystals. To do so, farm the Taksehir Miners - Great Waste (W).
4️⃣ Return the two Glowing Crystals to Rashiroz the Rogue.
5️⃣ Kill Treants in Guardian Forest (SW) to retrieve two Enchanted Treant Branches. They are located both atop a hill with a stonehenge in the center AND on the hill northeast of that one.
STRATEGY: To get everything to spawn, you must let the Treant Prisoner and the Goblin Prisoner LIVE, DO NOT KILL THEM. After the Treant Prisoner makes it to the stonehenge, light blue conned Treant Defenders and Diviners will start spawning in the nearby woods — you must kill these to get the higher level ones to spawn, which con White and Yellow. Those drop the BRANCHES you need, even though your quest log requires Barks.
NOTE: If you let the Treant Prisoner make it to the first rise before the Stones, and you see the NPC chat in Say occur, you can kill the Treant Prisoner and keep him fresh. Do not let the body disappear; also, do not kill the Goblin Prisoner. This way, you should get spawns every 10 minutes or so.
NOTE 2: There is a semi-insta spawned Treant Diviner on the north side of the hill with the stonehenge.
NOTE 3: There is an insta spawned Treant Diviner on the hill NE of the one with the stonehenge. Be sure to keep looting the insta after you kill it, or it will stop insta'n. You must loot it before killing the next one.
6️⃣ Upon returning the branches to Rashiroz the Rogue, you are sent on the final step of this first epic-sode — finding the Heart and Brain of Aktana the Flamekissed, and bringing back his soul in Lavastorm Mountains (E). You will need to farm Animated Lava. After getting the heart, head north to a Gargoyle statue of Aktana. Place the heart into the statue and it will become an unconnable roamer. Run north around the mountain to find a group of Gargoyle Patrollers that have now spawned. Farm these patrollers until a Fire Imp Protector spawns, which will eventually drop the Brain. Return to the unconnable statue to spawn Aktana the Flamekissed via a popup. Return to Magi'kot with Aktana's Soul to receive 20 million XP.
NOTE: IF YOU ALREADY HAVE THE AKTANA LOOT FROM A PREVIOUS KILL — if you already have loot on Flamekiss, all you need to do is farm the heart, talk to Garg, RH, and turn in soul. This applies for other classes that need and have the soul pre-looted. You do not need to farm the Imps again for the brain. (TY Monoxxide, Psychopathic Rydaz on CLW)
Episode 2
1️⃣ Rashiroz the Rogue starts you off by sending you to kill the bandits that come to the north gate of FP every few hours, much like the good caster epic. Evil Melee needs the coin purse dropped by the brigand and must talk to one of the henchmen.
2️⃣ Rashiroz the Rogue now tells you he wants to summon Vylinnuza, and you need to help him get her consciousness. The consciousness is in three parts, but must be constructed together using six items. You will need a jewelry kit (level 0 skill in jewelcrafting is fine) and the correct combination of items. If crafted incorrectly, they will disappear.
The mobs you need to farm are Enchanting Sirens. There are three camps: Vastly Deep (E), Kerra Isle (SW), and West Toxx (SW). Each camp contains two sets of four mobs with a treasure chest (blank con) in the middle. Farming the sirens yields a NTL key. Important note: The three keys are indistinguishable but correspond to different chests. Farm until you have three keys in inventory, then test each chest.
Items needed:
- Fragment of Logic — random drop at all three camps
- Fragment of Passion — random drop at all three camps
- Fragment of Restraint — random drop at all three camps
- Fragment of Calculation — chest reward at Kerra Isle camp
- Fragment of Motivation — chest reward at Vastly Deep camp
- Fragment of Complacency — chest reward at West Toxx camp
Crafting combos with a jewelcrafting kit:
- Complacency + Restraint
- Logic + Calculation
- Motivation + Passion
You will create three NTL gems: Turquoise, Azure, and Cobalt. Return to Rashiroz the Rogue, who will give you a NTL equippable robe, which you use to disguise yourself and trick Magi'Kot in Elemental Towers (W) into summoning. Bring your raid force.
3️⃣ Raid force? Magi'Kot despawns and summons Vylinnuza of the Tide. She walks in from the north, crits for 1200, melees for 1020, nukes for 400 (with max CR and LR), AoEs for 1000, and has tons of HP. She resists all nukes except lightning (reduced damage). At 1–2 reds left, she hits the tank much harder. You need 5–8 healers to MT her, tank with max CR/LR, high AC and AGI.
💎 Killing her gives 860k XP for a group of 60s. She drops four NTL Vylinnuza's Soul items.
Reward: 30 Mil XP and 10k tunar.
Episode 3
Return to Rashiroz the Rogue. He sends you to find Boldunder in the deserts of Odus.
Head to North Barren Coast (C). At the base of a hill near a large depression, you get a popup saying you feel the ground rumbling. Walking away from the hill toward the depression triggers two more popups, then Boldunder spawns.
You'll need a good-sized force to take out Boldunder. He resists all nukes and hits hard. He can be kited, but it's easier to MT him (minimum toons: 4 necs, stack cleric, 3 alchs for recon). He drops 4 souls. Bring one back to Rashiroz the Rogue, share the rest with your group. Rashiroz sends you back to Magi'Kot in Elemental Towers.
Magi'Kot tells you to speak with him again to port to the Plane of Sky (PoS) to witness the ultimate summoning.
Gather a sizable raid force. The Evil Melee doing the quest hands out gems that port you to PoS (first island, Isle of Wonder port). Once ready, speak to Magi'Kot again — he spawns Ahriaana the Ultimate. She looks like a gigantic ghilan, but fights like Boldunder on steroids. Nukes now do damage.
She is very difficult to MT (ports those with aggro off the island) and takes over an hour to kite. Best strategy: use pets to kill her — have all casters send pets at once. Keep a secondary pet for recast. Do not HoT pets. Tanks should not taunt, just melee. Debuffs: shamans, SK armor drain, Merc debuffs, rogue debuffs.
She ports players with aggro occasionally. Kill her — she drops 8 "Torn Journal Pages" for 8 questers.
Important Note (TY Gruphugz, Minstrel, CLW): Evil Melees do not need to talk to Magi'Kot's ghost. After Ahriaana is dead, loot and RH, then speak to your epic NPC (Rashiroz the Rogue) to complete the quest.
Note: If you got a drop from Ahriaana but weren't on that part of your epic, and now you are, complete the quest by speaking to Magi'Kot in Elemental Towers, spawn Ahriaana, RH, and then go speak to your epic NPC.
🎉 After getting your quest XP, go to Shon-To Monastery for ability reward and training point/CM reset. Two ability choices continue your class path; the third is a broken path option. Then head to FP for your item choices.
